This ring began with a stunning octagon cut Teal Tourmaline that I picked up some time ago, that has the most amazing flashes of teal, blue and green. Having previously made a similar design in this rich spectrum, I just knew this gem had to be the focal point for a new ‘Aurora’ colourway Showstopper!, this time in 9ct White Gold, to really set off the stunning array of jewel gem colours.
The vibrant 1.84ct Tourmaline measures 8mm x 6mm and is framed by clusters of rich Pink Garnet, with Pink Sapphires (light and dark) and Swiss Topaz, with Royal and Cornflower Blue Sapphires, ranging from 1.5-4.9mm diameter.
The bezel set gems splay from a 5mm wide ‘court’ profile band, which tapers to 3mm at the back for a really comfortable fit. The settings sit a maximum of 4mm from the band and radiate from the unique central gem.
This ring is a one off an measures a size M, which can only be adjusted slightly in size. However, similar designs can be made in any size and with different gem and precious metal combinations, so please get in touch if you would like to discuss a bespoke version of this ring.
