*New* Aquamarine Mermaid Necklace
This mesmerising 3.2ct oval cut Aquamarine displays beautifully watery green tones, and is so large it’s like looking into a rockpool! Measuring 15×8mm and set in portrait orientation, the Aquamarine is flanked by two 4.5mm diameter Swiss Topaz and Helen’s signature detailing to create a simple and bold pendant to best display this unique gemstone, with a lovely weight and feel that you’ll never want to take off.
Created throughout in Sterling Silver, Helen has selected a beautiful yet robust ‘trace’ style chain which uses a twisted wire detail for each link of the 18” chain, which can be altered or made adjustable in length if preferred. The pendant is approximately 22mm wide overall, and is about 13mm high. The whole necklace weighs 18gms so it can be worn comfortably everyday as your key piece, or just as easily by adding a touch of glamour to your ‘high days and holidays’ outfits.
Due to the uniqueness of the feature Aquamarine, this piece is a one off. However, similar designs can be made with other gems and to your own specifications, so please get in touch if you’d like to discuss a bespoke commission.
Please note that Sterling Silver items need to be regularly cleaned to prevent tarnishing, and that this detailed chain style in particular may oxidise if exposed to chlorine or salt water from being worn whilst swimming for example. For the ‘Mermaids’ that like to wear their jewellery all the time, please see my tips on keeping your jewellery bright and shiny on the FAQ’s page.
